IBM / Department of Motor Vehicles, State government of DC (100% Remote) Feb 2023 – Nov 2024 as a Senior Consultant (Legacy Modernization & Cloud Migration) SMP/E -(GIMSMP, IEBCOPY et al.) install, maintenance and migration of Products and functions on z/OS. HCD configuration (IOCD, IODF), IPL and POR at HMC, Hot-swapping CPUs, Memory resources across LPARs depending on expected busy times on servers. PTFs, APAR installation and maintenance via SMP/E. DFSMS Tasks. Installing, configuring IBM Z Mainframe ready for ZOAU, Python3 and ZOWE CLI accesses using SMP/E; necessary permissions and security via RACF and utilizing JCLs with ADDRSU, IDCAMS, IEBGENER, IKJEFT01 (CLIST, REXX).
