Manage fuel supply and efficiency of generator operations.
Scheduling type of gen set to on-time expected peak load and low load
Transformers
Monitor the 33kV to 415V step-down transformer and 415V to 33kV step-up transformer for stable voltage output.
Oversee the step-down transformer at the farm extension and ensure it meets power demands.
Ensure smooth operation of the step-up and step-down transformers located at the CEO’s villa
2) Power Synchronization and Load Management
Operate and maintain the synchronization panel to manage load sharing between the gen sets and the national grid.
Ensure proper operation of the Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) for seamless switching between grid power and generator supply.
Balance power distribution to prevent overloading of transformers or generators.
3) Preventive Maintenance
Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for generators, transformers, and associated electrical systems.
Inspect wiring, switchgear, and circuit breakers to identify and rectify faults before they escalate.
Ensure all power equipment is regularly cleaned, calibrated, and serviced.
4) Power System Monitoring and Troubleshooting
Use monitoring systems to track voltage, current, and power output at various points across the power network.
Diagnose and resolve power issues, such as outages, voltage drops, or equipment failures, in a timely manner.
