Roles And Responsibilities

Provided proactive safety support to company. Monitored and prevented potential.workplace safety hazards through routine inspections and training; accurate and up-to-date documentation of policies, procedures, and data; and investigations into accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions. Interfaced with facilities management and made recommendations on safety related issues through the projects.

* Ensuring full compliance of company’s and client’s Health & Safety Policy and procedures on the project.

* To advise on the provision of a safe working environment for employees by adhering to the company’s safety standards and procedures.

* Developing safety management plans and overseeing the implementation of the same as per the guidelines. Conducting safety Induction, inspections, surveillance and field auditing for compliance.

* Preparing daily, weekly and monthly status reports to monitor the compliance. Work with Project Management Team to ensure that adequate safety advice and resources can be providing to their area of responsibility.

* Assist with the implementation of Job Safety Analysis and inspect job site activities during particularly difficult or hazardous work situations.

* Planning and conducting monthly HSE Inspections and Developed, gathered and maintained HSE data for routine HSE reports and regulatory documents.

* Regular training to workers, supervisor staff and safety crew on firefighting and maintain its facility.

* Provides technical information on Fire, Safety and Environmental equipment for purchasing department prior to procurement of materials.

* Conducting and participating in Project HSE Meetings and advice where necessary to meet the identified shortfalls.

* Ensure that accident/incident/near miss investigations are properly carried out, root cause are clearly identified; update on the impact caused and advise project HSE Team on shortfalls.

* Reporting to the HSE Manager and Project Manager on the implementation of HSE system at various projects.

* Ensure that the Tool Box Talks are being conducted daily, and any deviations that have been identified the previous day are projected in the meeting avoid recurrence.

* Ensure that the employees are competent enough to carry out the work assigned to them in safe manner, and have undergone adequate training.

* Motivate the employees through safety awareness programs. Technical Qualification

Attained NEBOSH - International General Certificate Advanced Diploma in Occupational Safety, Health & Environmental Management from Baharat Sevak Samaj.

Basic Fire Fighting & Rescue training (Disaster awareness programme) from Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation, Tamil Nadu
