RE: Reference Letter for Mrs. Betty Johnson
It is my pleasure to provide a letter of recommendation for Mrs. Betty Johnson. I have known Mrs. Johnson, as an employee of San Antonio I.S.D., for more than 10 years now. She has served in the capacity of Secretary and Administrative Assistant, for me, for the past three years. Mrs. Johnson is an integral part of our campus and helps provide exceptional support and oversight of a variety of programs, district-wide.
Mrs. Johnson goes above and beyond in all areas. She arrives early to help ensure that the campus is open and ready to serve both staff and students. She take care of the day-to-day activities; such as: submitting daily attendance and breakfast/lunch counts, answering phone calls, checking in visitors, creating correspondence, scheduling appointments, monitoring staff attendance and submitting weekly payroll reports, creates requisitions and places orders, prepares deposits, processes student activity account transactions, processes and maintains accurate special education eligibility folders, training logs, accounting records and various other program records. Mrs. Johnson sets a high professional standard for herself; as well as those she works with. She has an impeccable sense of time management and always assist me in getting to appointments on time.
Mrs. Johnson is responsible for helping collect data, district-wide, regarding staff performance and helps maintain a quality assurance database. This is just one, of several task, that she performs that helps ensure that our staff and programs are meeting the district’s mission and core values. I would highly recommend Mrs. Betty Johnson, as a responsible, hard-working professional. It has been my pleasure working with her and she will be missed, dearly.
Sincerely,
Angela M. Garcia

To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing a letter of recommendation for Ms. Betty Johnson. In June I retired from the San Antonio Independent School District. Prior to my retirement, I was Ms. Johnson's immediate supervisor. It is with great enthusiasm that I endorse Ms. Johnson for the position she is seeking with your district.
I have known Ms. Betty Johnson for approximately fifteen years. Our first meeting was at the middle school where I taught. Later I was fortunate enough to work with her as she served in the role of secretary and administrative assistant. She was a true professional and made my job so much easier.
Ms. Betty Johnson has strengths in many areas needed to be an effective secretary. She has an excellent customer service attitude. Ms. Johnson greets people with a smile and a courteous, yet professional manner. Her attention to detail is impeccable. Ms. Johnson was responsible for employee time reports, weekly payroll reports, data collection with resultant spreadsheets, and inventories to mention a few of her duties. She has excellent keyboarding skills and can create any document one might request. The work she produces is always pristine and on time. The ability to multi-task was evident when she would stop a project to fulfill an immediate request and resume the previous task seamlessly. One of her strongest features is in accomplishing her tasks while mindfully adhering to district policies and procedures.
Ms. Betty Johnson has a strict personal code to which she adheres as well. She is very punctual, arriving at work on or before the required reporting time on a regular basis. If necessary, Ms. Johnson will offer to stay until a task is finished or at the request of her supervisor. She also follows a professional dress code. Ms. Johnson is always a good representation of the district with her attention to attire and grooming.
It is with pleasure that I submit this recommendation for Ms. Betty Johnson. She was a pleasure to have as a fellow employee. I greatly benefited from her many talents and expertise. Any position she occupies will have the same outcome.
Respectfully submitted,
Pamela Harrison
