An additional requirement is the desire to be an active participant in the Club and its activities. You MUST check off several of the following functions or duties that you feel you could participate in. These serve to support the Club and hours earned at these and other Club activities will serve to reduce your Annual Dues Assessment as per Article XII of the Bylaws, a portion of which is printed on the back of this form.

In addition to the Annual Dues, all dues paying members of the Franklin Rod and Gun Club, Inc., other than junior/senior/life members, shall be assessed an amount due and payable at the Annual Meeting. This assessment may be reduced at the rate of Five ($5.00) per hour for up to Fifteen Hours (15) of work provided to the Club in any of the following categories: A Scheduled Club Functions. B. Scheduled Work Parties, C. Scheduled Committee Meetings. D. Non-Scheduled Work activity that directly benefits the Club (If properly authenticated by the affected Committee Chairman or any member in good standing, on the forms provided).

For new members, required work service hours will be pro-rated at 1.25 hrs. per month, including the month they were elected, through the end of the fiscal year in September. Example: April through September is 6 months X 1.25 hrs. = 7.5 required work hours. For each hour less than their required hours not worked members will be assessed an hourly rate. New members will be assessed Ten Dollars ($10.00)/hour up to a maximum of One Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($150). Existing members will be assessed Five Dollars ($5.00)/hour up to a maximum of Seventy-Five Dollars ($75.00).

If a member's dues have not been received prior to the December Meeting, their key fob will be deactivated, and they will be dropped from the rolls of the Club. Non-Life members wanting to re-join will be required to pay full dues and the initiation fee. Senior members wanting to re-join will be required to pay Senior member dues and the initiation fee.

Both the applicant and the sponsoring member must attend the meeting during which the application is to be voted. Any member in good standing may sponsor an applicant, but he or she is limited to sponsor one (1) new member every six (6) months.
