Responsible for overseeing the Santa Monica College’s new, ground-up, Arts, Entertainment and Technology facility and also the new home for KCRW’s broadcasting station. Originally, scheduled for approximately 1.5 years’ construction, design problems and poor GC management resulted in the project being extended to approximately 4.5 years. Required heavy coordination to manage the volume of changes and extreme claim documentation to help posture the company for eventual recovery.

Hand-picked to provide onsite leadership for sensitive NASA related projects at JPL. Majority of projects were electrical prime, in nature. Successfully managed and completed numerous projects, simultaneously. Responsible for all facets of work from estimating to construction completion, working intimately with JPL and NASA personnel. All work was completed in a critical and secured environment. Work specifications were strictly adhered to through a detailed QA/QC program. Background checks and high security clearance/compliance was necessary by all. Ultimate management of numerous shifts, running around the clock was not uncommon. Additional projects led include substation upgrades at the Ports of LA and Long Beach and a Federal Building.
