Prepare inspection test plan (ITP) as per contractual requirements and getting approval from client.

Preparation of Quality control checklists, records & inspection reports.

Preparation of procedures, method of statements and check compliance with project specifications.

Co ordinate with main contractor, third party & client.

Control of calibrated measuring & test equipment used on the project.

Verification of Raw Materials to the specification as per applicable Codes and Standards.

Controlling of welding consumables and Documents.

Reviewing test certificates of welding electrodes, raw material, bolts & nuts as requirement standards.

Inspection of components as per quality plan, Drawings and Operation Process sheet.

Preparing & reviewing WPS/PQR, weld schedule and related qualification documents as per requirement of project according to ASME Sec IX & AWS D1.1, ASME B31.3.

Perform welder qualification in accordance with WPS.

Inspection & testing activities as per the inspection procedure.

To study the isometric drawing received from the clients and to identify the pipe lines and carry out the inspection work.

To check the fit up stage prior & confirm that root gap, off set, bevel angle are within acceptable limit.

Preparation of weld map & maintaining the weld record.

Witnessing in process examination — Welding Inspection — NDE on components.

Co ordinate with sub contractor for NDT activities like radiographic testing, magnet particle testing, ultrasonic testing, penetrate testing, TOFD, PAUT.

To select the joint for the NDT as per the welder coverage & line class percentage.

Carry out Penetrate Testing & report preparation.

To witness magnetic particle testing of fillet joints & check the surface & sub surface defects.

Preparation of RT selection list for the Daily Radiography works.

Fabrication, installation, testing & inspection activities carried out as per QAP.

Preparations of test pack & submit to the higher authorities.

Witness of proper assembly and tightening of bolted joints by manual and hydraulic torqueing with proper torque value as per codes and standards during the construction process.

To carry out reinstatement of piping & report preparation.

Witness of Hydro & Pneumatic tests of piping.

Preparation of punch list & clearance to next stage like Erection & painting.

To carry out line punching during the test pack internal review & assistance for the reports preparation.

Perform final inspection on Cleaning, Surface preparation, Galvanizing, Painting & Powder coating.

Maintaining of all inspection report & related documents in QA / QC department.

Conduct all worker activities in the safe & environmental policies & procedure.

For In line pipe inspection, checking weld procedure approval test and welding operator competency test records to ensure both are qualified in accordance with the code requirements. Checking plate identities and compare with mill certification details. Inspection welds preparations. Examination results of non destructive testing and review radiographs. Witnessing hydrostatic testing. Final visual examination after completion of all work including witness of hydrostatic test and internal/external examination. Review of heat treatment records.
