Revised: December -2024

CAREER SUMMARY:

Thank you for taking of your valuable time in wanting to review my resume. Before you go further, If you’re not offering a position of a traveling construction superintendent, construction superintendent, SSHO, or QCM, then kindly place my resume down and please find another candidate.

I bring you 25 years of general construction, safety, quality control, and management experience; 15 years retail, commercial, governmental, 5 years restaurant Hotel/Motel, 4 years renovation and residential, and 1 year self-employed. My career in the construction industry began in 2002. Working closely with the project teams, we attained a proven track record of satisfied clients throughout the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean.

As a General Superintendent I was responsible for traveling to various project locations throughout the US, Canada, and the Caribbean to performing a variety of inspections to ensure quality control, adherence to plan documents, specifications, and compliance of federal, state, and local safety and construction codes.

Further responsibilities included, but were not limited to, overseeing the total construction of a project, whether clearing a field and building a small community, building from the ground up, or adding to an existing structure. I have supervised the renovation and new construction of products for the U.S. Government, the U.S. Military, hotels, motels, hospitals, restaurants, and much more. Whether it was a small 1,200 square foot ranch home, or a 100,000 square foot commercial location, we came together as a team, and made it happen.

My past military experience as a hospital corpsman made me quite the candidate as a safety person. I educated myself, and continue to further my education in the current safety and health programs such as OSHA and EM-385 1-1. I educate the crews as to how a safe working environment and a strong safety culture can truly make a difference. The health and safety of the crews and visitors, not to mention the financial impact is of the utmost importance.

Departed Naval service 19-September-2002
