While at West High School, I continued my background that I had from early on in AVID through all four of my years in high school. Eventually, I became invested in the STEM pathway and was nominated the vice president of a STEM oriented program, the Femineers Club. In addition to this I wanted to further experience in different pathways as I enrolled in the AP history program, We The People and became the president of my high school’s Video Production Club. From there I graduated West High School with an advanced AVID award as well as a pendant from We The People. I managed to handle all of these responsibilities while being a part of our school cheer team and a member of our dance squad for multiple years while attending. AWARD
