Wine stewards were also required to give advice to patrons with regards to food and wine pairings. My duties also included the upkeep of the hotel's wine list, making sure that the vintages were correct as advertised on the list. Also responsible for making sure that the list had adequate regional representation. Responsible for conducting educational wine tastings for servers.
