I took those months off by accident.
It was not planned but enjoyed. Throughout the years of hard work and putting kids through college my youngest got married and my oldest had my second grandchild. I worked from home as a Medicare Member Services Associate. I answered calls assisting members who retired from the State of New Jersey. Concerning their Medicare Medical policies.
Helping with finding providers they were able to visit from family MDs to specialists for more challenging procedures. Checking to be sure those procedures were approved by their coverage and to stand by their side when they were not approved and needed to be appealed in order to get them approved. When the procedure was said and done I was right there to pick through their claims to understand the balance that was due. When that balance was not entirely correct I would be on the phone with them and speak for them to the billing department of that provider to make it correct. I assisted with their member rewards and cheered with them when they achieved their goal. I perfected this challenge by operating several computer systems simultaneously and with accuracy. I started this store at the Service Desk and it was not long after I was asked to assist with the Pro Desk. The same world is just more challenging. I drove right in. Working with contractors and business and dealing with high - end sales. One of my greatest accomplishments was I assisted a company with ordering a large amount of tools and a large tool box for their technician who worked on self checkouts. I turned that one tool box into 150 tool boxes because they repair self checkouts all around the country totaling over a million dollar sale. Funny how asking questions can improve a business. Then out of nowhere I got struck with cancer. I beat it. Then COVID I survived it. It was time to leave the public environment now that a lot of companies are hiring to work from home. I started as a part time cashier and with my outgoing personality and my ability to sell and assist with customers and their needs I was promoted and awarded several times until I made my way to the Service desk. It was here I learned to multitask several services at once while answering phones and set appointments for deliveries.
Transferred back to SC to assist with parents.
