DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
Cleaning-as preparation for scuff sanding all greased areas must be cleaned and free from oils/same as for paint stripping.Masking and Preparation-for scuff sanding some areas must be covered with masking tape and plastic such as windshield,window frames,static ports, GPS,UHF/VHF antennas and other composite areas.Paint stripping-before performing paint stripping be sure that the substrate is free from oils and dusts,it is also important to coverall composite areas by using thick plastic and aluminum tape.Stripper must be applied from top to bottom,after the application and paint is the stripper from the surface by usingpressurized water mixed with soap to avoid corrosion from the acid of the stripper.De-sealing-all acid contaminated and cracked sealant must be removed by using plastic orwooden scraper.Re-sealing-silicone free sealant is used to prevent loss of pressure and to provide corrosion protection to the contacting surfaces,it is applied by using air assisted.
