At All Day, I helped manage the buying and authentication of sneakers and clothing coming into the store, managing sales, managing the website, and being on the sales floor. Buying requires a great a mount of attention to detail to determine if the shoe is fake or not. With buying shoes also comes with needing great negotiating skills. I also needed to consistently know the market and be knowledgeable about which shoes are doing well and which ones are not to being able to make smart decisions on the spot. Constantly negotiating has also taught me how to read people very well and knowing their true intentions. As well as buying shoes, I would also work with clothing brands directly and form partnerships by selling their merchandise in our store. Attending The Fashion Institute of Technology has given me a strong knowledge of knowing current trends and predicting future trends, as well as being able to identify what our target demographic would like in terms of clothing and accessories. Also, I helped manage the sales floor by helping guests, making sure everything is clean, answering phone calls and processing transactions including returns/exchanges.
All Day is a new company, and with that comes with having to do more than just the average sales person. While working there, I have to find ways to help grow the brand whether that be through social media, going to events, offering extra services, etc. Being at All Day has given me the insight into how to manage and fully run a business from the ground up. With very few employees, I work daily with the owner of the company on how to run the business and figuring out new ideas on how to grow the company. General Merchandiser

As a general merchandiser, I have many different responsibilities. From working at 5 am to help stock all goods at a very fast pace to make sure nothing goes bad. Also, working the cashier and helping make sure the store stays at the brand standard. As well, as making sure the store maintained a cleanly appearance, I also interacted with customers helping them with their needs and providing them an experience they can remember.
