Worked closely with Mechanical and Acoustics engineering teams in China to develop new speaker designs, and to troubleshoot and resolve issues with current designs using the 8D process and Root Cause analysis tools to ensure all customer expectations were met.

Responsible for the accuracy and on-time delivery of engineering and design deliverables required for the RFQ process with OEM customers.

Directed change management activities for designs in development and for products already in mass production.

Coordinated supplier improvement plans between PSS global development sites and GM North American Engineering group in a successful effort to secure future business. PSS became the majority supplier of all base speakers to GM globally and a major competitor was removed from the GM bid list during this time.

Acoustics Group Manager/Program Manager

Managed acoustics programs supplying speakers and amplifiers to GM and Toyota operations in North and South America.

Served as the main customer interface for all GM and Toyota acoustics program issues and questions on acoustic system design.

Convinced Toyota to start releasing mid-grade audio systems on vehicles when previously they had only done Base and Premium (JBL) systems. This achieved a dramatic increase in sales of Fujitsu Ten amplifiers and speakers.

Approved and assisted in design of all audio system tunings for Toyota and GM vehicles equipped with F-Ten audio components.

Organized and participated in benchmarking activities and competitive evaluations for vehicle sound systems in active development.
