During tenure, grew the business from 5.2m to
7m revenue. Bottom line was also negative, and
finished at 3% in the black.
Hired and retained exceptional associates, some
of whom are now managing at other locations
across the country after being promoted from
within on my recommendation.
Decreased beverage COGs from 25%+ to under
19% consistently, with no liquor being sold on
premises.

Laurel Canyon Ventures
Head hunted from a local competitor to set up a
new concept called “Bob’s Cafe” in direct
competition with Bills, a large brunch cafe chain
in London.
Set up and run the flag ship location in Muswell
Hill. Hiring, training, promoting, coaching and
growing the team were daily duties.
Project was so successful, I helped set up two
new locations.
One of my key successes was forming
relationships with local business, driving revenue but also opening up opportunities for
collaborations.

Working in tandem with the Directorship team,
we became the most profitable location in the
company, along with the best review scores in
City Winery history.

assumed responsibility for the entire FOH
operation.
With no foundations, I personally created a
