• Following the codes and requirements of the manufacturer: Assemble, troubleshoot, test, install and remove valves as well as other equipment.

• Maintain/prepare the necessary documentation such as service reports, work orders, and equipment calibration records.

• Fit, calibrate, align, and adjust parts to meet with standardized operation tolerance.

• Calibrate measurement equipment in line with internal quality procedures.

• Perform and schedule maintenance on instrumentation control valves.

• Assist in startup and shutdown processes of certain plant equipment.

• Collaboration with engineering teams to support specification improvements, quality control, and vendor qualifications.

• Ensure the availability of correct spare parts for equipment.

• Perform required physical tasks such as operating man-lifts, climbing ladders and stairways for valve maintenance.

• Always maintain a high level of safety and environmental awareness.

• Develop and execute projects aimed at improving facility reliability and availability.

• Conduct root cause analysis on failures as well as contribute to plant reviews. With my 17+ years of industrial experience I have been through real life situations with maintenance on process equipment and Safety precautions needed to produce quality work with no issues for our valued customers. Self-motivation and integrity as a field service tech have instilled a sense of pride to get the job done so we can in turn have a happy customer and future work. This is what I feel will help me be a part of the right workforce and excel. My work has been commended by many customers via email and conversations with sales teams and relayed back. Using my unique skill set and expertise I was able to troubleshoot issues, deliver timed deadlines for emergency situations. Every job being different was also able to assist fellow seasoned techs to achieve success in several projects ranging from valves, regulators, instrumentation, and other equipment.
