Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of abrasive blast and paint shop operation, acting as Purchasing Agent, issuing purchase orders for materials, supplies and equipment requested by Project Managers and shop personnel. Ensure project budgets are maintained and managed. Communicate with suppliers, contractors and workforce to ensure project deadlines are successfully achieved. Also, oversee all repair and maintenance needs for facility

Proactively communicate with customers to ensure project is running efficiently with limited down time with the goal of meeting customer deadlines. Ensure timely delivery and pick up of completed product, compile inspection reports and required shipping documents at completion of project.

Maintain environmental records for hazardous materials used in the onsite blast and paint booth operation. Maintain records for hazardous waste disposal in accordance with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, the state branch of the Environmental Protection Agency. Compile quarterly reports detailing the emission of HAPS, (Hazardous Air Pollutants) from the painting operation. Assist IDEM inspectors on unscheduled audits. Successfully completed two unscheduled audits resulting in no violations or fines.

Certified NACE Level 1 Coating Inspector. Inspect and evaluate the application of coating materials on all shop projects.

Process weekly payroll for office and field personnel.

Perform daily, weekly, and monthly inspections per company policy.

Played a key role in helping the shop achieve a QP3 Certification from the SSPC.
