Started in the position as lead Pulaski and Chainsaw when cutting line during initial attack on wildfires and structure fires:
• Maintained equipment such as chainsaws, pole saws, chippers, and miscellaneous tools
• During grade work, ran the chainsaw and pulled brush to clear all debris from land that was a danger and susceptible to fire
• Assisted in training the National Guard crews on how to approach and attack wildfires, as well as instructed them on chainsaw rehabilitation and tool sharpening 2
