Request for Internship Training Opportunity

This is to introduce to you .MUtKtUNWPE RAINAVIWIE. of coc 25 UlCloas les a

student on the Certificate in Business Administration and Management. of Makerere University

Business School (MUBS). He/ She is applying fo undertake Internship training in your organization.

In order to bridge the gap between university education and the needs of employers in all sectors

of the economy, it is a national requirement for students to undertake internship for a period of

eight (8) weeks. Internship training is undertaken by final year Certificate in Business Administration

and Management students after their final examinations. Internship is aimed at exposing students

io praciices and processes in real work thus enabling them to acquire the necessary skills for work

afier siudies. Internship hence forms part of the requirements for the award of a certificate in

Business Administration and Management.

Tne supervision process is at two levels. In the organization we request that the student be allocated

a field supervisor who will assist fo mentor the student and monitor his/her learning progress on a

dcily basis. The University will also assign an academic supervisor who will visit the organization to

assess the student.

We shall be indebted if you allow the above named student to further his/her learning through

injernship Training in your esteemed organization.
