Responsibilities
Use of Well Wizard software (Weatherford software) to monitor drilling operation.
Monitor surface sensor used to ascertain down hole conditions.
Read and interprete resistivity and gamma ray log
Monitor sensors at rig floor, trip tank, gas level, gas-ratio analysis, mud density, mud temperature in/out, pressure, mud flow rate in/out, TVD, hole dept, RPM, ROP, weight on bit, top,
interpreting information and informing drilling team to enhance safety and success;
Collection and preparation of wet and dry samples using base oil respectively
Collection of samples at specific dept interval
Cuttings to be collected at closer intervals when approaching abnormal pressure zones and when drilling through targeted sand

Work / Responsibilities
Offloading and back loading of tubulars from pick-up point to lay down place
Ensure tubulars are leveled before lifting
Control moving load using tag line
Selection of right slings and shackle as per task to be carried out
Attach load to rigging
Inspection of slings for defects
Ensure slings have been certified and colour coded before use
Ensure proper storage of slings in rigging loft
Quarantine defeated sling
Test lift
Offloading of portakabins to designated concrete base/ slabs
Loading and back loading and production tools, equipments, gas bottles, valves in gas plant
Off loading and back loading of CCU
Offloading of generators, compressors, and 20 ton triplex pump using using spreader bar
Offloading of 27 ton anchor chain from truck using 60 and 70 ton crane (tandern lift)
Reinstalling of Obagi warehouse gate door (opaending lift)
Double handing of various pipe sizes
Offloading and reracking of riser baskets
Barricade work area during lifting
Use of stop card to halt any operations if an unsafe act, practice or procedure is observed

House keeping during and after every task to ensure safety of riggings, personnel material and environment
Offloading and back loading of drill pipes, casings, from stacks to pipe inspection rack for inspection.
Use of spreader bar to off load marine concrete beams
Offloading and stacking of chemical tanks using 7 ton forklift 60 ton crane
Arranging of concrete beams and donnages for pipe racking and reracking.
Attention lifting supervisor if lifting operations will not conform with lift plan
Ensure visual inspection of load to be lifted
Ensure visual inspection of crane before, during and after operation
Ensure crane outriggers are fully extended and on a firm ground
Assisting in crane positioning and repositioning prior to lifting operation.
