I have been with Aramark for the past 8 months as the Sr. Accountant/ Unit Controller. Performing various accounting duties with our client Denison University. Prior to Aramark I was with Robert Half for the last year performing Staff Accounting role with Washington Prime Group, Big Brothers and Big Sisters. Prior to that I was with E.E. Ward the Sr. Accountant in charge of two A/R Billing clerks and one A/P clerk, providing financial support in the day-to-day accounting operations.
Prior to E.E. Ward I was with W.W Williams company as the Accounting & Credit Manager. Managing a staff of nine, I manage the staff to provide financial support in the day-to-day operations of the company including branch and corporate deposits, procurement transactions and the monthly close schedule. I am one of the primary resources for accounting operations in the department. I have expertise in maintaining information, processes, and tools that support these areas. I have experience in gathering copious amounts of data and being able to interpret the results. I reconciled the assets including cash, accounts receivable, deferred revenue and cost of sales. I also assist with our internal audit review and the monthly branch reporting at many locations nationally. I am proficient in PeopleSoft financials application systems and have had some experience with NetSuite and Sage.
Prior to W. W. Williams I was with The Ohio State University for over 13 years as an Sr. Accountant, and my last seven years were as the Accounting & Budget Manager with a staff of three. I assisted in the accounting operations of over 30 Student Life units with accounting processes, budgeting, and profit and loss statements.
