We are delighted to introduce to you, the above-named student. The student is currently pursuing a Bachelor of
Science in information Technology (BSIT), second year at the Department of Computing and Technology, under
the Faculty of Engineering, Design and Technology, at Uganda Christian University.
Our BSIT programme is accredited by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE). The programme trains
for the national and international workplace in various professional skills. Based on the level of training, the
student possesses skills in Hardware Repair & Maintenance, Local Area Networking, Programming, Information
Systems Management, Database Programming, Web programming, Digital marketing and IT Entrepreneurship,
Computer Organization and Architecture and Mobile applications development. The student has interpersonal,
leadership and teamwork skills among other soft skills.
In accordance with the programme curriculum, the student is required to undertake internship for a
minimum of eight (8) weeks between 1st May and 30th July 2025, where they are expected to engage in
practical skilling activities /tasks that promote their career abilities. Your organization has been identified
to have the potential to guide the student for this purpose.
