Math Autobiography

My favorite subject is math because it is easy. My least favorite subject is English. In English, there’s so much vocabulary and reading. My favorite activity is playing football because you get to run and exercise. I learn best by seeing. For example, after seeing ratios on the smart board I understood it better.
Last year I took Algebra, and I earned a B. I have had good math teachers in the past. A negative part of math for me was taking Math Lab. My favorite topic in math is Geometry. My least favorite topic in math is ratios.
I use math in my life in many ways. When I cook, I use math to measure ingredients, such as salt and pepper. When I go to the store, I use math to count my money. In the future, I will use math to pay my bills and balance my checkbook. I would like to someday be in the Navy. I think there will be a lot of opportunities to use math in the Navy because ships have to plot coordinates to reach their destination. They also have to use math to see how far missiles will go.
In this math class, I expect to learn about equivalent ratios, multiplication, and much more. I feel that if I raise my hand and ask questions when I am struggling with my class work I will be more successful. I also plan to get help from the teachers or tutors if I need it.
