EXPERIENCE

1.INVENTORY OFFICER /CONTRACT MANAGER–ZAMBIA MEDICINES AND MEDICAL SUPPLIES AGENCY-ZAMMSA

Feb 2022-present

Responsibilities/Inventory

Stock movement- Supervises put away of all stock from the receiving dock to appropriate Warehouse Storage Locations. Replenishes stock to picking zones and locations to facilitate efficient picking. Supervising Inventory Assistants and Forklift operators to move stocks from one location to the other.

Undertakes cycle counts as guided by the cycle count and investigates any variances observed in the cycle count and reports findings to the Assistant Manager – Inventory.

Orders and exception Clearing-Ensures that any exceptions in the planning of orders on the WMS for stock that is available in adequate quantities are cleared to facilitate picking and fulfilling of customer orders. Documents causes of exceptions and submits to Assistant Manager Inventory for intervention to reduce occurrence.

Stock monitoring- Monitors the shelf life of inventory and ensures that FEFO is adhered to.

Inventory stock status changes- Ensures that stock is kept on the right status and conduct inventory status changes as authorized by the AMI.

Inventory adjustment- Conducts fully approved inventory adjustments to inventory quantities on the WMS. Conducts adjustments to load attributes such as UOM, SKU, batch and expiry upon authorization by AMI.

Training of operatives in the warehouse System-Ensures that at all times standard operating procedures are adhered to by Inventory Assistants and forklift operators. Trains operatives in the use of the WMS. Trains and supports employees assigned to undertake Stocktaking exercises.

Contract manager- Zambia Medicines and Medical Supplies Agency

Responsibilities/

Managing obligations of Zambia Medicines and Medical Supplies Agency specified in contracts.

Ensuring supplier performance according to terms and condition specified in the contracts.

Monitoring supplier performance or recommend appropriate action if obligations are not met by supplier.

Ensuring suppliers submit all required documentation.

Ensure ZAMMSA meets all its payment and other obligations on time and in accordance with the contract.

Ensuring that there is adequate quality, cost and time control.

2.LOGISTICS CORDINATOR-EMPLOYER UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND- ZAMPHIA PROJECT

January 2021 –January 2022

Responsibilities

Managing warehouse commodities and transactions.

Complete the Proof of Delivery (POD) issue log and ensure that non-conformances are documented and addressed in accordance with continuous quality management system.

Responsible for the goods receipt, verification, and put-away operations at non-active satellite laboratories prior to web transitions.

Prepare and issue Advanced Shipment Notices (ASN’s) when executing site transfers and reverse logistics.

Ensure that all inventory transactions are updated in real-time in the LMS/ERP system.

Responsible for lot and asset traceability through the logistics chain and ensuring that asset tag numbers, batches numbers and expiry dates are recorded and actively maintained.

Assist with satellite lab transitions activities and liaise with the warehousing and distribution agents to make available adequate resources to execute the transitions within the stipulated standard period.

Assist with the retrieval and consolidation of equipment and supplies from health facilities located at the various provinces and manage the post field implementation reverse logistics activities.

Maintain cold chain for viral load and other laboratory reagents used in the survey.

Be responsible for coordinating the storage and movement of health and non-health commodities between the central warehouse and survey implementing facilities.

Provide a daily activity update on the status of deliveries made to Satellite Laboratories.

Temporarily fill the following roles of Inbound Warehouse Coordinator, Outbound Warehouse Coordinator, Satellite Lab Logistics Coordinator as required and in line with the COVID-19 mitigation plans.
