This facility is a nursing home and Rehabilitation center. Working at the Rehabilitation center as an RN, my responsibilities are to provide care to the patients by administrating medications and applying critical thinking when it comes to their care. Also, communicating with physicians will ameliorate the resident’s health and help them become more independent.

As a new RN in a long-term care facility, taking care of more than ten patients per shift was challenging. I was in charge of providing care to the patients by administrating medication and wound care. Provide peg-tube care, tray care, and central lines care.

I began to work in the facility as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA). My duties were to provide care to the patients by assisting them with their ADLs. Transfer them from bed to wheelchair or wheelchair to bathroom chair safely. I am responsible for reporting any change notice on the patient to the nurse in charge.
