I am writing to express my keen interest in the Caregiver position at as advertised in Job Bank. With a strong background in Caregiver and a passion for Patient's management, I am eager to contribute my expertise to your esteemed company.

I hold a Healthcare (Nurse) from Mount Kenya University and have gained 5 years of professional experience in. In my previous role at Nyamira County Referral Hospital, I successfully administered prescribed medication through various routes (orally, intramuscularly, intravenously. My experience in nursing aligns well with the requirements of this position.

I am fluent in English and possess a strong understanding of listening skills, and interpersonal skills. My ability to work in an international environment and adapt quickly to new challenges makes me well-suited for this role.

My Hobbies are Care taking, Research, Reading and Nursing, which I think will be valuable and suitable for this role.

My Responsibilities includes:

• Effective application of triage system in patient’s management

• Wound dressing and wound management, including removal of foreign bodies and debridement. Pain management and emergency nursing interventions such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)

• Administration of prescribed medication through various routes (orally, intramuscularly, intravenously,

• subcutaneously, etc.), including setting up intravenous lines and dosage calculations for the pediatrics.

• Monitoring and recording of vital signs, as well as fluid intake and output

• Effective management of multiply injured patients with head injuries, spinal cord injuries and fractures

• Making effective use of instruments like the nebulizer, AED and suction machine

• Promotion of health and positive behavioral change through Health education and Counseling

• Care of patients on wound drains, chest tubes, nasogastric tube and oxygen administration.

• Ensuring patient comfort and adaptation to treatment/care plan

• Provision of preoperative and postoperative nursing care
