Primary responsibility was keeping up with fast paced PLC programming needs on machines with Allen Bradley SLC 500 and ABB 800XA DCS, including function block programming, writing complete logic programs from scratch and keeping up with HMI touch screens as they went out or where being replaced with newer models.

Have held various positions at this mill including E & I technician for the last 18 years, well-rehearsed at maintaining our PLC controls for Power House burner management system on large scale boilers, including Recovery boiler. Heavily involved with past and future DCS and PLC upgrades and repairs. Expertise in various types of instrumentation including level, flows, pressure, density and temperature controllers. Advanced experience with electronic control valves and IP’s loop tuning. Most recent position is IEPM Precision Trainer.
SKILLS INCLUDE:
Extensive knowledge of NFP70E safety requirements, Precision calibration methods and proven track record on sticking with troublesome transmitter problems with recent success on correcting drum levels with accuracy of greater than < .25% error, fixing boiler leak detection system that involved the instrument tuning of two different loops working together and commissioning of flow transmitters that ranges had to calculated and implemented to make them work.
