This company is very large in size And can also control zone and woreda levels(districts). I had responsibilities like
maintaining computer, printer, ups, dividers for officers etc,
Networking: installing and maintaining net works
Database management: The Authority has Land Administration database called ISLA During the implementation: I was involved in the implementation of user interface layout, which components/functions to be added to make it full function, I tested and evaluated the system functionality (both unit test and system test). After the database started, I customized and configured the system(ISLA) through the woreda’s and zone’s officers, gave training to those officer users and data clerks, setup 15-20 computers network and configure ISLA with centralized data server for the contract data clerks, I also involved system security by encrypting both hardware and software systems, I followed up the zones and woredas officers and data clerks, I supervised the implementation and made monthly follow up in order to maintain security and virus free environment, organized the whole zones and woredas back up in regional level.
