Directed the operations of the Neurological Institute (KNI), providing support to 128 adults with developmental disabilities. Ensured that the person-centered philosophy is provided to people who live at KNI so they can have the quality of life they deserve by recognizing their individuality, honoring their choices, and protecting and maintaining their health. Indirectly oversaw 450 staff providing support, including nursing, habilitation services, Human Resources, business office staff, maintenance/security, laundry and custodial staff and all staff providing direct support. Collaborated closely with the parent/guardian group as well as the Superintendents of other state hospitals including Larned State Hospital, Osawatomie, and Parsons.

Founded the not for profit organization. As CEO oversaw all operations of Individual Support Systems, supporting adults with developmental disabilities in Shawnee County, Kansas.
