Personal Profile

I have always wanted a career in healthcare, working as a support worker, and working for an company like Conags Care Limited would give me, a good progress in my ambitions.

I have always wanted, and dreamt of looking after people, especially children or adults who are less able to look after themselves and having worked for a Residential care home for quite a long time in various settings has been a great advantage for me. I strongly believe I have the right capabilities that are required for this vacancy, hence my huge interest in joining your team.

I work best within a team; however I can also perform duties on my own initiative. I have a desire to learn and personally develop myself and being an effective and innovative member of the team are part of my strengths.

Work Experience:

01/2019 - Now:

Zigoti Care and Rehabilitation Centre:

Mityana Uganda (Support Worker).

My roles include assisting qualified trained nurses in meeting high quality care provided to patients in various hospitals.

Helping residents in this nursing and residential home, with the daily activities of living, including feeding, bathing, toileting, bed making, washing and assisting them maintain their quality of life and independence.

I also support the residents in doing their personal shopping monthly, by escorting them to the shops, and assisting them while promoting their independence.

I also involve the service users with playing games, such as football or any other, depending on their interest.

I support clients to attend their place of worship as required weekly.

When working, I always promote the safety, and healthy of the clients as required by the ministry of Health in Uganda.

I however promote the independence of clients as much as possible, giving them the chance to always have their choice.
