Engineering Sales Support and Lead Technician
Blink Charging Co./Car Charging Group, Miami Beach, FL 2009 – 2024 Traveled throughout the US and the Caribbean diagnosing and repairing DC Fast and Level 2 EV chargers that contractors were not able to repair. Led the development of maintenance and repair protocols for contractors who were not familiar with the equipment. When introducing a new charger, performed the first installation and wrote the installation manual. Conducted cellular signal strength tests to diagnose communication issues and swap charger SIM modules as needed. Provided engineering support for Blink sales personnel throughout the US. This included charger planning, location, size/type, quantity, infrastructure, current building capacity and future growth potential. Developed different business models to provide customers with creative options for acquiring chargers. Calculated electric reimbursement rates for contracts. Oversaw the installation of Blink’s first Local Load Management system; allowing several chargers to share a circuit and change output based on the number of cars charging. Worked with Blink’s Network Operations Center to diagnose and develop repairs for DCFC and L2 chargers. Conducted cellular signal strength tests to diagnose communication issues and swap charger SIM modules as needed.
Designed the footprint of service plazas’ charging areas and installed Blink DCFCs and L2 chargers along the Pennsylvania Turnpike using grant funds. Monitored all individually metered charger billings to ensure they were on the most cost-effective electric rate. Design and Sales Engineer

Designed and sold liquid desiccant dehumidification equipment systems. These were typically used in hospitals and other locations that had waste heat streams. Worked with the DOE and Oakridge National Laboratory to design a system to meet the DOE’s Distributed Generation goals.

Florida Power and Light, Juno Beach FL 1988 - 2004 Conducted energy efficiency evaluations for large manufacturing and hospital accounts to reduce electric consumption. Oversaw Demand Side Management and Demand Reduction Rates. Earned my CEM (Certified Energy Manager). Oversaw FPL’s EV program in Broward County and was responsible for the Fleet of GM-EV1’s.
