Overhead Crane Operator/ Shipping and Receiving March 2018 - April 2020 Zimmerman Metals Denver, Co

I started oϫ in Receiving and was responsible for unloading all material by overhead crane logging in the material and marking with the proper job# and load #. I was also responsible for maintaining a safe and neat work environment for customers and staϫ. I fed all production cut lines so material could be cut and fabricated per job. I was in charge of the shipping yard would make sure that all truck were loaded buy load# and job# for the customer to pick up and also making sure the trucks were properly strapped and weight was in accordance with CDOT. I would inspect trailers to make sure they were current on inspections and safe to load. I was in charge of making sure the outbound yard was organized and loads were ready to load by load# and job# and would also load with a forklift for the smaller loads and make sure all pallets were wrapped tight and eϬciently so they would be safe on the truck. I would move all trailers to the loading section and then park the trailers in sequence with the way the trailers were getting picked up by the transportation companies
