Delivery Drivers make sure the products arrive at their destination on time and in good condition. Other duties and responsibilities for this position include:

Packing, loading and unloading delivery Medical DME Equipment to patients’ homes and assembly

Delivering parcels and goods to customers on designated routes

Maintaining regular communication with patients in the home

Review deliveries with recipients to ensure they’re accurate

Obtaining delivery confirmations from customers

Cleaning and servicing van for the next delivery

Daily reporting and inputting of metrics into store systems

Assisting at the warehouse and backdoor

Delivery and Maintenance

Essential Job Functions

Safely drives on the road delivering and picking residents and dropping them at various locations.

Inspects equipment to ensure safe operating conditions, checks oil and fuel prior to leaving.

Drop of items pick up deliveries

Performs duties consistent with all applicable safety, DOT and Company rules.

Conducts preventative maintenance and ensure truck is clean.

Maintains appropriate driving records, logs and shipping documents as required.

Maintains telephone contact with base or supervisor to receive instructions or request to be dispatched to new location.

Verifies shipping documents for accuracy and obtains customer’s signature on paperwork upon delivery.

Completes paperwork as required.

Accurately complete maintenance forms.

Maintain general housekeeping duties within the department.

Must comply with company and department rules and procedures.
