Hi, my name is Derrick Barton. I was previously running as a 100 ton boat Captain bringing cargo, personnel and supplies to the oil rigs and platforms in the Gulf of Mexico, Being the leader of a 4 to 6 man crew of deckhands Able Seamen (AB) and captains. I have great communication skills and worked with and comunicated daily with higher up company Reps from oil and gas companies like BP, Chevron, and more on a regular basis, so I do not mind being in a leadership position. I have some college experience attending coastal Alabama for my psychology degree but left to serve time in the Army. In the Military My job as a 19Delta was to do reconnaissance on enemy targets. Once latitude and longitude was determined either close watch was kept on target, ground engagement, or call for fire was implemented. I’ve also worked making brake parts at a company called Grede in brewton Alabama, I’ve ran forklifts for a third party company at Ascend in cantonment Fl, I’ve Sold cars at peach Chevrolet in brewton Alabama so I don’t mind customer interaction.
