I was the owner and technical manager of Warranty Engineering (W.E.). focusing on the inspection of failed coil coated material with the goal of facilitating expedient and cost-effective resolutions.

TECHNICAL SERVICE and COATING WARRANTY INVESTIGATION (2006 -2010) BASF/PPG (Acquisition)

Provided technical support for coil coating of aluminum and ferrous metals through-out mid-west. (Plastisol, Polyester and Fluorocarbon). Primary warranty claims inspector for PPG coil – western hemisphere.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CHEMIST (2003 - 2005) XIM Products Inc., Westlake, OH.

Developed and directed new product line of anti-corrosion coatings employing Inherently Conductive Polymer technology as applied to latex, alkyd and 2K epoxy systems. Initiated and delivered technical training programs resulting in enhanced sales of specialty products in New Zealand and U. S. markets.

SENIOR CHEMIST AND TECHNICAL SERVICE REP. (1986 - 2002) BASF/ Morton/ Whittaker (Serial Acquisitions)

Expedited development and expansion of newest polyester product line between mid-west customers by way of line trials and technical presentations. Fiscal year 1999 sales $8M+. Provided education and technical support to west-coast counterparts in striated plastisol application for expansion into Mexico (Imsa of Monclova). Assisted in start-up and refinement of "Intermix" systems (customer and in-house production). Represented U.S. in technical exchange with European merger prospect (Weilberger) for the purpose of relating USDA / FDA restrictions on coatings for direct and indirect food contact. As Senior Chemist, I generated and tested more than one thousand individual formulations.
