BSN 08/01/19 to date- I am responsible for 3 to 4 patients in a 36 patient’s bed in a cardiac medicine unit in of the hospital. My duties include, reviewing patient’s diagnosis, reasons for admission, PMH, medications and treatments as prescribed by the physicians.

•Assess AKI patients before initiating dialysis treatment to prevent further damages and to recover kidney functions or transition to ESRD with modality choice and permanent access education.

•Obtain order for a max UFR to prevent intradialytic hypotension.
•Discuss additional fluids removal with the physician to determine if an order for ADD is appropriate.
