Dear Hiring Manager
I am writing to express my strong interest in Adult Geriatric position at the clinic. As a recent graduate of Master of Science in Nursing program at Walden University, with a specialization in Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. I am excited about the opportunity to begin my nurse practitioner (NP) career in a community-focused healthcare setting.
My journeys in Healthcare begin twenty seven years ago as a registered nurse (RN) in medical surgical unit at MCV Hospital in Richmond Virginia and other adult in geriatric facilities. These experiences provided me with a strong foundation in patient care, honing my skills in assessment, treatments, plan of care, preoperative and postoperative for same day surgery, and patient education. During my time as an RN, I have developed a passion for preventive care and holistic patient management, which led me to pursue my nurse practitioner degree.
Throughout my NP program, I completed over 600-650 clinical hours in adult geriatric primary care setting, including women’s health. These rotations allowed plus previous me to gain hands-on experience in:
Conducted comprehensive health assessment for preadmission
Confirmed diagnosed and managed common acute and chronic conditions with primary care doctor
Confirmed appropriate medications and treatments
Educated patients on disease prevention and health promotion
I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to your team and grow as a nurse practitioner under the mentorship of experienced healthcare providers. I am confident that my nursing background, coupled with my NP training, positions me well to provide compassionate and competent care to your diverse patient population. Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the possibility of discussing how I can contribute to this health center outcome.
Sincerely,
Zarina S. Sayani
