Pile Driver Journeyman

Responsibilities: leadman for small crew of six (6) pile drivers building templets to drive on a river front, Lakefront in Maryland. Maintaining a lead in front of bridge carpenters and other craftsmen to support the weight of cranes and other machinery while driving piles. Also supports using templates and barges to navigate the structure of the bridge in an orderly but straightforward path using 3” rigging to uplift piles off a material barge from weights up to 40 tons and more using air hammers and compressors for power. Responsibilities: Pile Driver Heavy Lyft Division install and salvage platforms in Gulf Of Mexico driving steel piles for foundation support using torches and welding machines to secure a safe platform for welders up to 20 plus men to work at one given time. Using radio commands to communicate using cranes and tugboats, to maneuver equipment throughout barge, taking sometimes months to complete project working a 28-day work schedule. Giving daily reports of safety and production of what's been accomplished and what’s left, having daily safety meetings with entire crew of operations, JASHA etc.

Rigger/Pile Driver

Responsibilities: Lead Rigger loading and unloading boats land and marine side. Also install and salvage of Oil and Gas platforms throughout the Gulf OF Mexico. Responsible for moving equipment safely and efficiently without damage to property or any structure standing or laying. All communications done with radio commands with proper signals, made sure to use proper rigging while lifting equipment. Responsible for building scaffolding that maintains strength and integra, keeping daily logs of equipment moved or sent out for departure and incoming. Gave daily safety meetings with crew and staff, had to write JASAH for every task that needed to be accomplished that day.
