Reynaldo is an experienced & certified SAP Consultant with leadership and technical skills in SAP BI (Business Intelligence) & application development (ABAP). He has over 25 years of SAP experience, of which over 12 years has been in BW/BI. He has knowledge in FI/CO/SD/MM/PP modules and is a recognized expert in all aspects of ABAP/4 programming. Developed HANA views for the Office Construction Project on Project System and Purchasing modules via SLT. A separate team used thiese HANA views as the datasource for Tableau. This project reports real estate properties under construction, which shows budgeted, allocated and actual costs. This has drilldown capabilities by Market, Region, Project, Sales and Construction Managers. It also shows the number of projects completed, in progress and the duration of completion.

Developed HANA views for the Resort Properties Project on New GL FAGLFLEXA and FAGLFLEXT as source tables via SLT. The company has many Resort Properties that generate income, and this HANA view will report daily and monthly budget, forecast and actual amount by property with comparison of current YTD, MTD, Previous YTD and MTD. It also allows drilldown and filtering by GL Account, Cost Center, Profit Centers, as well as Cost Center and GL account groupings. Web-Intelligence reporting is used as the reporting tool with the creation of a universe on top of the HANA views.

BW/Hana Sr. Modeler/Developer BI with Actavis/Allergan/TEVA (Contract)

As the key modeler/developer in the HANA BI team, I have been involved in developing BI applications using HANA to replace existing BW reports to retire BW, and provided reporting solutions with Analysis for Olap, Analysis for Excel and Webi. These developments were enhanced with dashboard capabilities using Design Studio on top of HANA. My role was to support the users in North America with all their reporting/application requirements in areas of Sales and Marketing, Direct and Indirect Sales, Procurement, Material Management, Contract, Pricing, Customer Master and Inventory. The ECC tables were replicated using SLT, and non-ECC data, such as Modeln tables and Flat files, were loaded using Business Object Data service. One of my key responsibilities was to make sure the reports were tested and tuned to its best performance and to train the users how to use the developed applications and create reports.

Developed HANA views to consolidate data to be provided for the Allergan to TEVA migration.

This was a short term BW project where I was engaged to assist in solving tickets raised by the user community. I have assisted in the BW migration into 7.x, and developed several BW cubes and reports in areas of Finance, Sales Distribution and Production Planning.

After contracting with this company for several years previously, I was offered a Sr. BW position, where I continue to develop BW objects to satisfy any Business reporting needs. I worked very closely with analyst, senior managers, as well as with the executive management to find reporting solutions to better visualize the HR, Sales and Financial data.

Developed a Global Financial BexWeb-reporting for Allergan’s Accounting Finance Team, Executive Committee and the office of CFO, which include Actuals, Budget and Forecast versions. The requirement gathering was in collaboration with the Sr. Director of Finance, V.P. of Finance and CFO.

Developed HR Headcount and Workforce Planning Webreporting with Trend analysis.

BW-HR: Extracted 0EMPLOYEE and 0ORGUNIT master data with enhancements. Created an ABAP program to trigger an event that will trigger the process chain HR: Load Headcount and Personnel Actions Prior Period, and made the program flexible enough to allow for triggering of other HR process chains as well. Created a transfer routine to populate the long text for 0ORGUNIT with the orgunit medium text, concatenated with the manager name.

Developed several Openhubs to generate CSV-files.

Activated and installed GRC, 0PP_*, 0AA_*, 0FI_GL_4, 0FI_AR_4, 2LIS_11*, 2LIS_12*, and inventory movement 2LIS_03_BF business content with delta loads.

Developed an extractor from an Oracle database using Ascential, which contains historical financial transaction data. The data are then stored in a customed Datastore (ODS) and summarized in a customed Infocube. Developed several queries for the financial group.
