Early Career Highlights 1991 to 1999

I began my career in the construction industry in 1991 working as a carpenter for firms in Jackson Hole and Casper Wyoming. I was eventually promoted to Forman and I made a life changing transition in 1995, which gave me experience working in the international arena.

From 1995 to 1996, I was fortunate to secure a Project Superintendent position within the Nokia Cabling Division with a primary office in Helsinki Finland. My assignment required that I work in Port Said, Egypt with the responsibility of supervising directional boring and cabling activities, and installation of 4-66V power circuits under the Suez Canal.

From 1996 to 1999, I worked for DAG Construction in Cincinnati Ohio as a Project Manager (PM). I was responsible for all of the duties of a PM not limited to scheduling, coordinating and supervising subcontractors and support staff, contract negotiation, reviewing scopes of work, and ensuring projects were completed on time and within budget.
