• Project Leadership and Management

o Support the states in rollout of comprehensive primary health care (CPHC) through operationalization of Ayushman Arogya Mandirs/Health and Wellness Centers (both NHM and AYUSH), PHCs, Urban-PHCs

o Liaison with NHSRC, Ministry of AYUSH, State NHM and AYUSH Directorates to better understand program requirements and recommend and implement appropriate solutions o Handhold the 14 state teams in developing project goals, annual work plans, timelines, milestones and deliverables

o Develop technical guidelines and documents for delivery of quality of care o Assist the operations and procurement team in developing RFP/ToR and onboarding the sub- awardees and grantees including IHMR University, Empower School of Health, VIVA Development Strategies, Urban Management Consulting Pvt. • Conducted orientations of ASHAs and other health workers on reproductive health and coached the same in mobilizing community at the time of their monthly meeting/VHND

• Identification of doctors from public sector for male sterilization training and facilitate their participation in the training with the help of District NSV trainer

• Worked closely with the Project’s Senior Technical Advisor for the demand generation and BCC Specialist. Development of IEC materials like pamphlet, banners for NSV and organizing Nukad- Natak/Puppet show.

• Facilitated facility assessment for quality services and build capacity of health officials/staff in implementation QI/QA activities like provision of sterilization guidelines/manuals

• Supported district health officials and NSV providers in organizing sterilization camps via community mobilization and ensuring availability of regular supply of medicine and consumables

• Liaison with district health officials – CMO, ACMO, DPOs, District Health Society; Block health officials – MO/IC, HEOs through regular meetings and practical examples

• Monitored Population Control Fortnight in a way that each facility has its own sterilization surgeon during the fortnight
