KEY RESPONSIBILITIES HANDLED :

Generally responsible for implementations and monitoring of all Civil related works at site.

Review Engineering design drawings, specifications and other technical document submissions and recommend improvements.

Reviewing shop drawings and As-built & supervising the draftsman as per consultants/client requirement.

Review method statements & material approval for construction works prepared by Office Engineers & Contractors.

Estimates, prepares and assigns the resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc., required for all civil related works prior to execution.

Store visit for arrival of new materials against the Approved Material Submittal and there receiving and raising Material Inspection with Quality team to the Client.

Coordinating with the quality personnel for site and material inspection.

Ensure the Pre-Execution Checklist (PEC) for Civil works is followed prior to start of any activity.

Responsible for the constructions and finishing works of buildings including erection of steel structural and concreting

Checking, Surveying and establish reference points and elevations to guide construction.

Daily site visit and close monitoring the construction activities on site.

Reporting back to senior official (Senior Manager) explaining the site scenario.

Solving the conflicts and discrepancies in between Architectural, Mechanical, Civil & Electrical.

Conduct Inspection together with the Client/Consultant representative daily bases & especially for those critical and complex works.

Follow up of Site instructions, Site Observation Report & NCR’s etc. and necessary correspondence with Consultants and sub-contractors.

Interact with Consultant about work progress and Raising RFFI (Request for Further Information) & Variations if required.

Preparing weekly/monthly Material Testing reports such as Compressive strength, Rebar Sampling, Trial Mix Reports, FDT Reports, Joint Integrity Reports.

To ensure that all inspections and tests are carried out as indicated on the appropriate Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).

Conduct inspection for trial mixes of concrete in batching plant prior to submittal and acceptance by the Consultant/Client.

Coordinate all material receiving inspections and review all material certification and testing reports.

Ensure that the Project Quality Plan is implemented at all times during the stages of works up to hand-over and commissioning.

Ensure that all the products and materials to be use and installed on conforms to the project requirements through relevant MIR’s and approval of Client.

Monitor concreting works before and during casting to ensure quality of work.

Ensure that the backfilling works particularly the thickness of each layer by joint Survey inspection conforms the requirements and see to it that the areas backfilled are well compacted and ready for testing.

Conduct third party inspection for all backfill materials to be use on site during preparation, sampling and testing prior to use.

To provide corrective action for the successful closing out of non-conformances (NCR), Site Observation Report (SOR) reports issued by client and maintain a project non-conformation register.

Witness for the required test associated to the project specification and constructions, such as Field density Test (FDT), bore hole test etc.

Checking of the safety of workers and others at the site.

Checking that all the technical Equipment’s are good and in working condition

Review and coordinate for Technical Query with Drawings inconsistency to engineering Department, follow up materials inquiry & approval and other related QA/QC matter.

Ensures that all test results are verified to meet contract requirements and in accordance with QCS.

Monitor’s material storage area and takes necessary measures to prevent damage

Reports non-conforming activities NCR and Site Observation Reports SOR.
