● Employed React, Next.js and Node.js to deliver web applications capable of intuitive use, smooth navigation, scalability and great data handling for Liberty Mutual’s three main web-apps.
● Created reusable components for future iterations on pages aimed at showcasing our 25+ Lines of Business aiding in achieving a high bind rate while keeping the Codebase free of redundancy.
● Was Vital in keeping our google ranking and actually achieved record result rankings, keeping LM the top choice for auto, property and life insurance with a clean web-app interface.
● Directed 95% of all private auto make personalized insurance pages. Allowing for each of their clients to have a unique experience with special offered discount insurance.
● Participated in learning four workshops and two hack-a-thons hosted by Liberty to contribute to the technological exploration and growth of Liberty Mutual tech.
● Produced 45% of all insurance resource pages attached to the main product in-order to inform all web-app users of insurance information for education purposes.
● Organized API’s (ex. TrueStage) in order to create a smoother quoting process, reducing drop-off by 28%. Creating our own Hooks in order to provide quick communication between Apps.
● Leveraged tools like Akamai, DataDog, Atlasstian and Google analytics to reach our recent record ranking with google and keep Liberty Mutual at the top of all common insurance searches. ● Incorporated Docker to ensure that 30+ developers could work within a containerized version of spearmint, rectifying potential issues with different working environments, primarily WSL.
● Employed React as it was crucial towards managing a mutable state. This allowed for an automatic rerender of any components that the changed state was a part of through the 3 sectioned interface.
● Utilized Electron for the application in order to create a user friendly desktop version. Adding to the portability and relative ease of use for Spearmint increasing usage by 70%.
● Hand to hand with NodeJS, Express trims some of the fat that Node leaves behind, essentially speeding up all aspects of our backend server. Middleware simplifies functionality allowing reuse as well as modularity being routed from a different file keeps our application clean and concise.
● Constructed a resilient backend framework with MongoDB, pivotal for deploying a user-friendly login feature; enhanced data management allowed for the secure storage of 300+ test templates, promoting personalized user experiences

Vesper interactive film and drink coordination application
● Applied Express in tandem with Node to achieve an even more streamlined back-end. Middleware was deployed to minimize redundancy within functionality and modularize the server.
● Orchestrated the maintenance of calls to two separate RESTful APIs via the server.
