I began my software engineering career with Devetry after graduation. The nature of consulting is that I had to constantly adapt to new demands and technologies. While sometimes I guided the development of products from the ground up, oftentimes I was asked to make the best of less than ideal inherited architecture and find solutions with only the tools I was given. My time there has given me top-notch debugging skills, client and internal communication experience, and an appreciation for clearly written, maintainable code.
• Worked with other engineers both in front-end and back-end to deliver major new features within tight deadlines, such as new APIs, design overhauls, and accessibility optimizations
• Worked in DevOps to create more manageable and robust applications. This included efforts to centralize logging for ease of monitoring, as well as setting up architecture such as AWS Serverless to handle large traffic spikes
