Activities and societies: Vice President of the East Bay Chapter of International Code Counsel Activities and societies: As Vice President of the East Bay Chapter of International Code Counsel while Attending Laney college I was instrumental in assisting the establishing a International Code Counsel Chapter in Oakland, California. While attending I was elected and honored to serve the office of Vice President of the California East Bay Chapter. Our Chapter was tasked with informing our east bay communities of the vast construction field. Our members were instrumental in establishing an outreach campaign that targeted high schools and businesses as an informational awareness program while subsequently volunteering Our labor for habitat for humanity. As a skilled Craftsman and journeyman Carpenter and representative of the chapter I was able to assist in providing needed skills in building homes for underdeveloped communities. With Our persistence and determination in informing the community we serve, our mother chapter presented our chapter with a Merit Award for which we were honored to receive as apart of the International Code Counsel (ICC). Our Merit award currently sits in the presidents' office of Laney college as we speak.
