WGS claims helps to process claims received from member or provider by considering the plan member has purchased from wellpoint and the benefit the plan offers. Claims can be received through EDI, Source HOV or can be manually keyed by operators. Claims data received via EDI or Source HOV is mapped to claim train format through the mapping process. Then the claims are edited, priced, adjudicated and finalized to issue EOB to the member. All the processes are automated via Batch job unless there is any issue with the claims such that it cannot be processed automatically.

Participating the requirement gathering sessions with business to understand the changes needed in business/system level and track them through JIRA
Involving in design review, code review, and test results review process for the various enhancement activities.
Leading the offshore team and implement the changes on time as planned
