My engineering background with specialty in control and automation for industry coupled with organizational skills and teamwork leadership ability sets me apart in engineering field. Experience

June 2008 -To date: Electrical maintenance Technician at BULLPAK-NAMPAK KENYA LTD. Duties and Responsibilities

-Carry out planned maintenance on various electrical plant/production equipment to ensure their optimal operation state.

-Read and interpret blue prints, schematics and wiring diagrams as well as troubleshoot electrical issues and carry out timely repairs on production lines/equipment with the aim of reducing factory down time.

-Planning and preparing maintenance schedules, work orders and instructions as well as coordinate activities at various electrical sections.

-Participate in new installations, major upgrade projects to electrical plant and subsystems.

-Maintain supplies inventory levels for essential spares, anticipating needed supplies placing and expediting orders for electrical spares.

-Document electrical maintenance information in log sheets & on computer in various databases and other internal programs.

-Actively participate and lead Self Directed Work Teams activities and initiatives such as deep cleaning, 5s and safety audits, process improvement projects etc. in order to contribute to the team success. Aug.2005 – June 2008: Electrical Technician at Friendship Container Manufacturers Ltd. Duties and Responsibilities:

-Timely attending to electrical breakdowns on production equipment to minimize downtime.

-Carry out planned and preventive maintenance of electrical plant/production equipment to the required standards.
