Phlebotomist/Mobile Phlebotomist Smart Health Diagnostics – Irvine, CA 09/2020 – 01/2024 Handle a large group of patients (adults and children) during events to draw their blood for COVID antibody testing, lipid panel testing, and to centrifuge specimens if necessary. Mobile blood draws are also performed, when necessary, to test patients for COVID antibodies and lipid and cholesterol panels. Specimens are dropped off to the post office or lab after collection. Research Assistant/ Researcher CSU Dominguez Hills – Carson, CA 06/2020 – 12/2023 Assist building a large library of secondary metabolites for marine derived fungi. The purpose of building a large library was to identify natural products with pharmaceutically relevant biological activity. Specifically, cytotoxic activity towards a brain cancer cell line, or antibiotic activity towards the pathogen Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
