EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
Imperial College London
PhD Student
October 2020 - Present (2 years 11 months)
London, England, United Kingdom
PhD researcher at the Adaptive and Intelligent Robotics Lab supervised by Dr. Antoine Cully. My research is at the intersection of machine learning and robotics. I am interested in ways to enable robots to be general-purpose. I believe open-ended learning systems, where agents can continually adapt to constantly evolving environments have the potential to make this possible. To enable such systems, I study Quality-Diversity algorithms which encourages novelty and diversity as a key component in the process.

Undergraduate Research Assistant
September 2019 - August 2020 (1 year)
Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States
Researcher at the MIT Manipulation and Mechanisms (MCUBE) Lab. Worked on intelligent and dexterous manipulation using tactile sensing. Developed systems and frameworks for task based picking by evaluating stability, observability, and manipulability using deep learning and motion planning.
Undergraduate Research Assistant
September 2019 - July 2020 (11 months)
Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States
Researcher at the MIT Biomimetics Lab. Worked on dynamic locomotion for legged robots (Mini-Cheetah) using optimization-based control and machine learning methods.
Imperial College London
Undergraduate Research Assistant
December 2018 - September 2019 (10 months)
London, United Kingdom
Researcher at the Adaptive and Intelligent Robotics Lab (AIRL). Developed learning algorithms to enable legged robots to be more versatile and robust through the use of reinforcement learning, evolutionary strategies and quality diversity optimization. Implemented the Intelligent Trial and Error (ITE) and Reset-free Trial and Error (RTE) frameworks on a hexapod robot.
