Call pharmacies to put in overrides for medications, such as vacation, authorizing prior auths, patients out of medications. Worked in a call center taking 45-100 calls per day.Verified Insurance along with benefits such as Deductible, copays. If patients lost their medication or needed a early refill, or were going on vacation, I would verify if they were able to get those medications and put in the appropriate authorizations. I would do this either with the patient or the pharmacists. I would also call the pharmacies to put in overrides as well. Either for early refills, or vacations depending on the circumstances.
